It's time for our monthly community acrylics class at Golden Library! This Sunday from 12:30 to 2:00, we will be creating a flower painting Georgia O'Keefe style, while exploring the acrylic technique of Glazing. We will be creating this piece of art on a 6 x 6 canvas (quite small, but this will give us the opportunity to complete the painting in the time allotted). Georgia O'Keefe was one of those artists who became less interested in painting things as purely representational, and began exploring what she called capturing their essence. Join us as we learn a bit more about this ground-breaking artist and paint a beautiful flower by Glazing.
All supplies will be provided by the Golden Library. Although this class is full, you can always drop by on standby: last month, all our standbys found a place at the table. :)
